A Note on Using any Baby So Smart Baby Carrier:

A BABY CARRIER IS NOT TO BE USED AS A RESTRAINING DEVICE.  IF YOUR BABY IS ANGRY, FUSSING, THROWING A TEMPER TANTRUM, OR THROWING HIS BODY AROUND, PLEASE DO NOT PLACE YOUR BABY IN ANY CARRIER. WAIT UNTIL HIS EMOTIONAL STATUS HAS RETURNED TO NORMAL, AND THEN PROCEED WITH WEARING YOUR BABY.

 Cradle Position Instructions

A word on the cradle hold, or cradle carry, in a ring sling.   At Baby So Smart we prefer to see a baby held in what is referred to as the “tummy-to-tummy” position, or an upright position, when carried in a ring sling.  The cradle carry is useful when breastfeeding a baby, and we prefer to see it only used for this specific activity, as we feel it is a more difficult position for a parent to maintain a baby in without compromising their airway.  When a baby has finished feeding, he should be returned to the tummy-to-tummy position for the remainder of his “ride.”

Please make sure to read through the first few slides of the Back Wearing in a MT segment, as they contain important safety information.

Your baby’s nose and mouth should NEVER be pressed into your back while backwearing; they should be seated high enough on your back to be able to see over your shoulder very easily.

Testimonials

It has been a few years since I have bought a sling and I had no idea they could be so beautiful! What gorgeous fabrics and they appear to be durable as well! Would you be interested in doing a small presentation for our [LLL] Group with some of your unique carriers?
